Dr. Morgan Hill earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the
University of Arkansas, completing the program between 2016 and 2022. Following
her doctoral studies, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Serious Mental
Illness/Forensics at the Arkansas State Hospital/University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences from 2022 to 2023, where her work focused on providing
trauma-informed intervention, assessment, and consultation within the state
forensic hospital. Her clinical training also includes an APA-Accredited Predoctoral
Internship with the Federal Bureau of Prisons at the U.S. Medical Center for
Federal Prisoners from 2021 to 2022.
Dr. Hill’s forensic assessment expertise provides a rigorous
foundation for all general diagnostic evaluations. Forensic work demands deep
knowledge of psychopathology, standardized methods, and response bias detection
(e.g., malingering)—skills directly applied to her clinical practice. This
ensures careful consideration and rule-out of multiple diagnoses, especially in
complex cases involving trauma, comorbidity, and serious mental illness. Her
multi-method approach includes structured interviews, psychometric testing
(cognitive, personality, specialized instruments), and collateral data review,
resulting in clear, evidence-based, highly reliable, and actionable clinical
assessments.
Dr. Hill is actively engaged in supervision of pre- and
post-doctoral interns and research, and serves as an instructor for the
Clinical Psychology Ph.D. training program at the University of Arkansas, and
has served in various roles in the American Psychological Association’s
Division 18: Psychologists in Public Service. Dr. Hill has authored or
co-authored peer-reviewed publications and presentations in areas such as
trauma, psychopathology, and forensic psychology. She has also contributed to
book chapters on evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches for
adolescents with sexually abusive behavior and family- and community-based
therapies.
